Margaret McGowan's Story

As a child during World War Two she recalled the Christmas presents or ‘Foreign Orders’, which came from the Eveleigh Workshops. Family favourites were the salad servers, a set of cake forks, and a bowl and spoon decorated with Australian animals drawn in tiny dots. She remembers all the sisters and aunts in the family having complete sets.
